Jurassic World or Deep Blue Sea?

Has anyone else noticed the similarities between the Jurassic World plot and that of the bonafide shark classic, Deep Blue Sea? Let's just run down the similarities here:

• Overzealous female scientist 
• Genetically modified animals
• Predators with increased intellect
• The male protagonist are magical animal whisperers - 
• Chris Pratt riding a motorcycle through a herd of Raptors; 
• Thomas Jane "shark surfing"
• The big monster hunts all animals indiscriminately
• Moral: don't fuck with biology or try to play God
• Bonus: two degrees of Samuel L. Jackson

They're practically the SAME FREAKING MOVIE!
