If you read this blog and don't care much about video games, I'm just going to say this right away: I won't be offended if you stop reading right now. This week is all about games. As the year-end issue of The Weekend Paper for a year in which I had little time or money for anything besides video games, I didn't write about anything but video games in my year-in-review.
- Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor does some impressive things with enemies in video games, and it's far more impactful than it sounds. It's one of my favorite games of 2014.
- I close out my video series about the best games of 2014 with a testimonial about the beautiful chaos of Far Cry 4.
- As a new father with much less time and money to devote to gaming I've had in the past, I developed an unusual plan for gaming in 2015.
- Finally, after much internal debate, I've determined that my official Weekend Paper Game of the Year 2014 is... nothing in particular.
I'll be back next week to get 2015 started off proper. Thanks for reading!
